हिन्दी अनुवाव― प्रस्तुत कविता वस्तुतः एक गीत है. जो दुःखी लोगों
और जरूरतमन्द लोगों की मदद करने हेतु एक मार्मिक अपील है। 1985 में
कलाकारों के एक दल ने इथियोपिया देश में भूख से मर रहे लोगों को आगे
बढ़कर पैसे/धन अनुदान देने की अपील की थी, जो पूरी दुनियाँ में काफी
चर्चित हुआ और दुःखी लोगों की आशा का स्रोत बन गया।
एक समय आता है कि हम एक पुकार सुनते हैं-दिल की पुकार, आत्मा
की पुकार. कि दुनियाँ में भूख से मर रहे लोगों की मदद के लिए हमें भी
आगे बढ़कर, उनकी आर्थिक मदद करनी चाहिए। उस जीवन को बचाना
चाहिए जो ईश्वर का दिया हुआ उपहार है।

हिन्दी अनुवाद― हम सिर्फ इस आशा में मुंह छुपा कर नहीं बैठ सकते
कि कोई, कभी प्रकट होकर बड़ा परिवर्तन करेगा और सब ठीक कर देगा।
हम सभी ईश्वर के एक बड़े परिवार का हिस्सा हैं और सच्चाई यह है कि
प्यार की जरूरत सभी को है।

हिन्दी अनुवाद― हम ही दुनियाँ हैं, हम बच्चे हैं. और हम आने वाले
दिनों को अच्छा बना सकते हैं। अतः हमें जरूरतमंद लोगों की आर्थिक मदद
करनी शुरू कर देनी चाहिए। इस प्रकार से हम अपना ही जीवन बचा रहे
होंगे । यही सच्चाई है कि हम और आप ही आने वाले दिनों को बेहतर बना
सकते हैं।

हिन्दी अनुवाद― अपना दिल उनको भेजो, दिल का प्यार उन तक भेजो
कि वे भी जानें कि कोई उनकी परवाह करने वाला है। और उनका जीवन
अधिक सुरक्षित और स्वतंत्र बन जायेगा। ईश्वर ने हमें सिखाया है कि मेहनत
से अनाज उपजाना। अतः हमें सबकी मदद करनी चाहिए।
जब आप संकट में घिरे होते हैं तो आपको कोई आशा नजर नहीं आती।
लेकिन यदि आप विश्वास कर लें कि यदि हम एकजुट होंगे तो कभी असफल
नहीं होंगे। अत: यह हमें अहसास/महसूस कर लेना चाहिए कि एकता ही में
बल है और यदि हम एक होकर जरूरतमन्दों की मदद करें, तो हम कभी
दुःखी न होंगे। कोई भी मदद करें, तो हम कभी दुःखी न होंगे। कोई भी फिर
दुःखी नहीं रहेगा दुनियाँ में।

Heed (होड) = ध्यान लगाना, (यहाँ) सुनना। Certain (सर्टेन) =
खास, विशेष। World (वर्ल्ड) = दुनियाँ। Together (टुगेदर) = साथ-साथ।
Dying People (डाईंग पीपुल) = मर रहे लोगा Gift (गिफ्ट) = उपहार।
Change (चेन्ज) = परिवर्तनChoice (च्वाइस) = चयन, चुनाव। Soon
(सून) = शीघ्र, जल्दी। Realize (रियलाइज) = महसूस करना।
