1. The snake trying
to escape the pursuing stick,
with sudden curvings of thin
long body. How beautiful
and graceful are his shapes!
He glides through the water away
from the stroke.

from death. It immediately curves its thin and long body and hides
itself into the reeds.

Ans. As per view of the poet, the shake is harmless for the
children. It is small and green in colour. The poet praises its beauty
and shape. It looks graceful to him.

saved. Consequently he says 'Let him go away over the water." It is
because it won't have the hit of the stick.
